FIELD 1 _ PLAYING & TRAINING POLICY

With the significant increase in senior teams and also the continuing hosting of the in house Under 6 & 7 program on Friday evenings the effective management of our playing surfaces will be crucial to maintaining a quality playing surface. As such we have formalised the club wide Field 1 policy that is to be passed on to the respective committees for distribution to coaches, managers and alike to monitor and enforce. The balanced workload of all Fields is constantly under review by GCCC. 

Below is the parameters that have been set Field 1. The only teams to play matches on Field 1 are as follows:
  • Women’s QPL2, Girls U16/U18 JL (1st Criteria is level of competition) 
  • Men’s QPL3, Men's QPL4, Boys U18 JL (1st Criteria is level of competition) 
  • Community Midweek Men’s (1st Criteria is level of competition) 
  • Community Midweek Women (1st Criteria is level of competition) 
  • Under 6 & 7 In House Program 
  • Junior Final Series Matches (1st Criteria is level of competition / 2nd Criteria is age) 
  • QPL3 Men’s and Women’s Final Series Training 
  • Accessible Football Program (1st Sunday of Month) 

In addition, the following should be observed: 
  • No teams are to train on Field 1 
  • Warming up on Field 1 is prohibited including but not limited to the goal mouths 
  • It is the responsibility of PBSC officials, coaches or managers to make sure that visiting clubs are made aware of and adhere to this policy 
  • The removal of goalposts at the completion of the last match is the responsibility of that committee / team / officials and posts must be locked at the northern end of field 1 
  • Dugouts (Both Home and Away) are to be left clean and tidy 
  • Electrical tape is not to be left all over the playing surface at the completion of the match. Take the rubbish back to the dressing rooms and dispose in the bins provided 
  • In the event that these points are not adhered to the team in question may at the discretion of the Board forfeit their right to future matches on Field 1 
  • Games always take priority on any field and it may from time to time it may be necessary to relocate training sessions
